New vs. Old

Can you tell which fabric was bought for 50 cents from the thrift store and which was bought for $9 at the quilt shop?

    My guess is that the middle one is thrift shop.

    Correct! How could you tell? The weave, the color? The middle one is a bit more simple. The Lecien print on the top gives you a bit more pattern to work with. I love them both equally, though.
