After dabbling with fashion and home decor sewing, I fell head over heels into the world of quilt-making. I find the most satisfying thing about making quilts is creating useable art that will also be cherished and remembered, possibly for generations, from random bits of cloth. Plus, it's just so great to get to play with different colors, textures, and designs. Most of all, I do like to have fun!
The quilts I make for Peppermint Pinwheels are a mix vintage and new fabrics that are both modern and traditional and absolutely unique. I also teach quilting classes and am working on a line of quilting patterns (but, I've been saying THAT for quite awhile now!).
