Improvisational Confetti Quilt
Next Class: Saturday, October 6th, 10:30 am to 3:30 pm at SueDees in Scotts Valley, CA. Cost is $50 for South Bay Modern Quilt Guild members ($55 for non-guild members). There will be a 30-minute lunch break. Bring your own lunch, or buy from Nob Hill Grocery, or Eric's Deli, on either side of SueDees. Enrollment is capped at 12 with a waiting list. Is your scrap basket overflowing? Do you have a stash of random fabrics that you have no idea how to incorporate into a quilt? Learn how to make an improvisational confetti quilt and watch your scraps disappear! Don’t have scraps? Don’t worry, fat quarters and quarter yard cuts will also work.
We don’t worry about cutting fabric the right size or sewing perfect seams. This class is about having fun and making a quilt that you (and all your friends) will love!
Improvising a Basket Weave Quilt

This is a fun and easy class that will teach you how to piece your own “improvisational” basket weave crib or lap size quilt. You don’t need to worry too much about cutting fabric the right size or sewing perfect seams. Just come, have fun, and leave with your own, unique quilt top.
